PINTEREST MANAGEMENT
PINTEREST SCHEDULING
-
I will start with the pin creation when the order is placed and create everything in one go. Make sure to add new content before the date of month that your recurring order starts. So that I can make sure to include it for that month.
TIP: add a note in your calendar a couple days before the recurring order starts so that you have time to include upload new content.
BLOGS: you can share the links in our chat.
PHOTOS: you can upload them in our googledrive. -
Pinterest is PRIMARILY driven by the content of the image. The bots scan the image before anything else. So, if you wish, you can put the same image into 100 different branded pin templates, and it will be considered a fresh new graphic.
What Pinterest cares about, though, is for the link leading from that image to be properly working, not broken, and RELEVANT link. If not, one may get penalized. In essence, for Pinterest to consider your pin as “new content,” all you need is a new graphic.
This is also fantastic because you can constantly promote new and old content – as many times as you want.

I am sorry to see that the photos have been badly processed by Tailwind.
I use the Tailwind extension to pick up the normal photos and schedule them. I always double check if the quality of the photos looked good in Tailwind drafts before scheduling them.
Please contact me with screenshots of the pins that are blurry. -
Hashtags were a thing 2 years ago but since then Pinterest hasn't been using this feature.
What sometimes happens is that accounts are sharing an IG description instead of a Pinterest description.
From Google "“Hashtags aren't really a prevalent thing on Pinterest… So, if hashtags are part of your larger campaign strategy or campaign message, include them, but they are not going to drive anywhere. So, stay away from hashtags because it's not an authentic functionality or feature on Pinterest. “
Hashtags VS Keywords
On pinterest no one uses hashtags, they search using keywords, true hashtags are clickable but contain a ton of stuff - even loosely related. Keywords give precise targetted results.
-
The alt text is used only for blind people. They mostly use Pinterest for boards related to visual impairments and education. And it will not enhance your Pinterest SEO.
It is only possible to add alt text when uploading pins directly on Pinterest, not scheduled in Tailwind.
That said, adding it to Idea Pins is also impossible. This is due to the limited resources they need from Pinterest
-
Animated and Video pins might seem a little blurry or sharpen towards the end. That is due to Pinterest processing videos, which have nothing to do with the design.
However, animated pins are winning over more exposure, so they are essential for growth.
-
Please share this before the order starts.
Your order starts at a specific time at the month and I will start creating on of your pins from that date. And if you will let me know after your order is placed then I have already all of your Pins and your selection has to wait until the next month.
I would suggest to add a note to your calendar 5 days prior to the date that your order is activated and let me know if you need to focus on certain products/ links. -
I made a loom video about this.
-
Pinterest boards are not just collections of pins you organize by content. They also act as keywords (along with their keyword-optimized descriptions). By scheduling your pin to multiple boards I increase its chances for discoverability and engagement.
-
I use different templates for the same photo or the same template for different photos. Why? Because it's important to test which version is getting the most attractions. after the 3th and 6th month we can elimate some templates or focus on particulair kind of photos to get the best result.
Example for one of my clients the wedding reception photos gives her the most traffic and the template with the biggest photo section.
Pinterest works different for every business and this is why testing is a big part of the procress. -
Repeated pins are a deliberate aspect of our strategy, serving multiple purposes.
Firstly, each pin is distributed across 3 to 4 different boards to maximize visibility and reach.
Secondly, we regularly repin your top-performing content as part of the growth strategy, even if it has been previously pinned. This ensures continued exposure to your best content.
Templates Moreover, we employ various templates for the same image or use the same template for different images. This approach allows to experiment and determine which combinations attract the most engagement. Over time, we analyze this data to refine the strategy, eliminating less effective templates and focusing on those that yield the best results.
For instance, for one client, wedding reception photos paired with templates featuring larger photo sections drive the most traffic.
Recognizing that Pinterest dynamics vary for each business, this iterative testing process is crucial for optimizing performance. -
I schedule your best-performing pins monthly into Tailwind Communities to increase their exposure. Naturally, the communities are made up of many members. When we add your pin to those communities, it will be visible to each of those members, and it has a chance to be saved by any member of that community – if they choose, of course. It is a chain reaction that results in more discoverability.
In addition, I must reshare an equal number of these communities’ pins – later pinned in the garbage board (inspiration) – because they are not always fully aligned with your style. However, I need to maintain reciprocity of resharing because those are the community rules for being able to participate in them. This fosters a sense of community and ensures everyone benefits from increased exposure.
PINTEREST BOARDS
-
From Pinterest FAQs: They don't help as much with SEO (helping Pinterest understand what your pin is about, which helps them show it to the right people) as board titles do. Pinterest board titles are highly searchable – but section names aren't as beneficial. So, instead of creating sections inside boards, it's usually best to create (and keyword-optimize) more boards instead. This way, you get the keyword mojo of those board titles working for you.

The … inspiration board is actually a “garbage board” 😊. Here are all the pins from groupboards and tailwind communities.
I add your pins to these boards and I also need to reshare pins from these boards. This is mandatory.
And this content isn’t always in line with your aesthetics, target audience or location. This is why I create one “garbage board” call …. inspiration.
-
Boards are used to promote products and services, increase brand awareness, and engage with customers.
With a new board each month, you increase your chances for discoverability + you visually improve your Pinterest organization.
Each board has its own description with keywords, which acts as a tool for greater exposure.
-
I schedule the best-performing pins on a monthly basis to group boards to increase their exposure.
Each group board has a member collective – which means your pin will show in their feed, and if they choose to engage, it will show in their follower’s feed.
It is a chain reaction of more discoverability.
In addition, I must reshare an equal amount of these group boards’ pins – which are posted in the garbage board (inspiration), because they are not always fully aligned with your style, but the reciprocity of resharing other members’ pins must be maintained.
-
I create boards tailored to work for your vision on a monthly basis.
First and foremost, I need to create such boards in which I would be able to post your pins.
The name of the boards greatly depends on the content that will be pinned during these months. In addition, I create one brand board where all of your creations (only yours) will be posted.
Finally, I create one inspiration board (in a way, it is a garbage board), where I reshare content from communities and group boards. Speaking of, I also apply to join group boards in which your content will be shared for greater exposure.
However, sometimes, it may take a while to get accepted to them.
PINTEREST SETUP
-
I don't have access because this means that I will first have to login to your google email and for security reasons it’s not a good idea to do this.
Please unlink your google accounts in your profile settings. Then I can login.
Here is a guide on how to unlink your google login. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Nulpjk3pyRR9B5xm71IgjSj6C-XXH9KWltkjtIQJTIE/edit -
A part of my strategy is posting your pins into groupboards. Applying to them during the setup process requires being logged in to your account because as a Publisher, I am entitled to create boards and publish pins, but not apply to groupboards. Besides having a Publisher title as an employee partner, I also need the title Ad Account Admin in order to analyze your monthly performance and create reports. Once I have the ability to manage your profile and ad account, you can also change your password login and I will still have publisher access.
-
With the Pro account, you only get to post 100 pins per month, which isn’t enough for growth. My packages are specially tailored for growth, and most of the time, the pins need to be reshared to 3 boards. In addition, to post into communities, you also need to reshare the same amount of pins. The same goes for the groupboards, which are 50 pins alone - just from resharing. With the Advanced option, you can post up to 1,000 monthly pins. While we don’t need as much, we certainly need to post at least 200.
-
If you have one of set packages then have a look at this loom video.
-
Unfortuneatly not. Tailwind requires and email address that is NOT connected to another Tailwind account and all of mine are.
-
I know that this is convenient for you. But only not for me 🙈. It’s technically possible but it’s a bit of a productivity drain for me 😊.
Because I have multiple clients and if all wanted to add me to their Canva account then my Canva will be filled up with teams. And I just need 1 to 2 links of your templates and not access to your entire canva account.
I always make a copy of the original template link that you are sharing with me. To make sure that your templates are safe. Plus I would get updates constantly when anyone is adding something to their account.
-
There are two reasons. First, we need to test what converts and works better for your niche. Not all templates will appeal to viewers equally, so after months of activity, we will be able to draw conclusions and see which perform better. Secondly, each template brings its own versatility and more variety to the platform. Instead of offering the same design, we elevate your profile by providing richer content.
-
Tailwind Communities are your tool for growth. Each community has its own niche, so I pick those that align with yours. In the chosen communities, you will find like-minded creatives who share their own products/services and repin the pins posted by other members.
When we post in a community, others can view, schedule, and distribute your content to their own Pinterest audiences. Since the community members are already in your niche and have a targetted audience, your pins will be seen by those people who are already interested in your niche – which increases the chances for your content to be seen by the right viewers.
PINTEREST GROWTH
-
It takes 2 to 3 months for Pinterest to index your Pin.
The Pinterest bots will check out your Pin, read the image and additionally sources the words in the description to decide where to show it – to which users. And this can take up to 3 months. As the pin matures and grows, Pinterest will push it towards the top search results.
-
On Instagram, people will follow you.
But on Pinterest, gaining followers isn’t really a goal.
People will discover your pin when they search for something. And your pins need to crawl up within the searches. (Just like blogs and websites on Google).
And people rarely visit Pinterest profiles these days. If they like your pin, they will click on it and head over to your website or shop .
-
I will list (screenshot) your analytics data but will specifically focus on month-to-month comparison + pin clicks, outbound clicks and saves.
Based on these numbers, I will first see what performs better (it needs time; pins rarely burst into huge numbers from the start).
Then, I will analyze which pins trend more and which are less successful.
What content is being pushed up, what content brings website clicks, which content is aesthetically pleasing and is being reshared (saves), etc.
If I notice you get a lot of impressions but little engagement, we will talk about content upgrading and providing more value for potential clients because this means they are seeing your work but aren’t interested enough to engage.
This means that slow growth isn’t always the pinning and scheduling.
In those cases, we will work on enriching content ideas and blogs, improving the website, maybe changing some templates, etc.
Often, being guided by trends and seasonal content + following keyword statistics can go a long way.
-
I will be sharing your first report when I deliver the tasks for the second month. This is usually after 30 days of when the first pin was scheduled.
-
I will do all of the monthly tasks in one go, and everything is scheduled in Tailwind, and the idea and carousel pins are added to Pinterest.
It wouldn’t be relevant to check weekly because it takes around 2 to 3 months for a pin to pop up in the Pinterest search results.
With each month, I will deliver an analytics report. And I will optimize the strategy accordingly. But since it takes a while for a pin to get seen by Pinterest, it's not advisable to adjust the strategy in the first 3 months. -
In the first month your pins wiIl be scheduled throughout the month and I will prepare an Analytics Report for you after the first month of pinning showing how much you have progressed.
-
No, the analytics report is solely for Pinterest. However, I do make a growth report every three months with ideas on how you can grow further and some content inspiration for your website that may rank well.
If you need assistance with web optimization, I have a detailed course that will help! Just reach out to me to get more information on the course.

When it comes to pins, their lifespan is AMAZING. They can grow as long as you nurture them! Compared to social media, where the algorithm constantly changes and the posts have only 2-3 days of exposure, Pinterest Pins can grow INDEFINITELY. Just like Blog Posts.
With the optimization, we are increasing the chance for them to be seen and ensnare the attention of your target audience.
-
To explain the concept of Pin growth, it is important to visualize that you are just starting growing a garden. The pins will be your seeds.
Now, I have planted them in their beds, in the right season, in the right soil, and added the right fertilizer. (Keywords).
As time passes, they will start to sprout. However, it is vital to keep them nurtured all the time in order for them to grow. This why I will focus growing your best performing pins each month.
It is the same with flowers, if you take care of them – they will bloom! The bottom line is that it takes time for your pins to grow properly. But no worries, my strategy is specially tailored to boost your Pinterest for a whole month. That means all tasks are done and will keep your activity high for this month.
-
It takes around upto 3 months for a pin to pop up in the Pinterest search results. This means that a pin that has been pinned 3 months ago will be fully processed after 3 months and will be visible in the search results.
Since it takes a while for a pin to get seen by Pinterest, it's not advisable to adjust the strategy in the first 3-5 months.
That means the first more significant results of 3 months of pinning will be seen after 6 months (optimally, 8 months). For example, if I have been helping you in January, February, and March, you will start to see the full effect of those three months in July. -
Please read my blog post about this.
-

Here, you can discover more information about what you might be missing out on. READ MORE -
TIP 1.
Share Pinterest with your social media audience (facebook, instagram, tiktok). Create several posts a month about that you added a new shoot, product to Pinterest and that your followers can discover more ideas there.
- new product/ service announcement
- discover more inspiration
- see my …. Board (name a board that is relevant for the season)
- Just like you are promoting your services and blog on Instagram you can also promote your Pinterest.
TIP 2. Create blogs or designs that are trending on Pinterest at the moment. No idea what is trending? You can opt in for my extra growth package and you will receive a report each month. -
If your stats dropped after the first month, that is not because of the pinning we did in the first month. The drop is because of the previous pinning that has been done, meaning your old pins are losing popularity, or their stats may vary because of seasonal fluctuations. The ones we published in the first month will take up to 3 months to be fully indexed by Pinterest and shown in the search results.
-
When you see a sudden drop in the first months, and you already happen to have pins that were popular, this is due to your old pins losing popularity because the new ones we’ve created take 2-3 months to be indexed by Pinterest and are yet to grow.
-
If this is the case, you first need to establish whether your website is user-friendly. Start by answering some of the following questions:
Does it speak clearly to the viewer?
-Is it transparent enough?
-Is the buying process smooth enough?
-Does your product or service have a clear description and call to action?
-Is your website mobile-friendly?
-Do you have testimonials to back your credibility?
-Is the price easily visible?
If you need help figuring these things out – or need more assistance – feel free to contact me to grab my complete web optimization course! -
Another important thing to mention is the occasional drop in Pinterest numbers. This is mostly due to seasonal fluctuations, which is perfectly normal. Pinterest is a search engine, so it operates based on what people search for the most during that period. By constantly monitoring trends and optimizing the strategy, we will do our best to stop that drop. Again, number fluctuations are completely normal and nothing to be worried about.
MORE INFO:
There are many things affecting the traffic, and it is not just your account. In fact, users worldwide have noticed these changes and posted about them on Reddit, Facebook groups, etc. Here’s just one recent thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/Pinterest/comments/1d0dfeh/what_the_hell_is_wrong_with_pinterest_these_days/
Another factor is the Google update recently that also affected Pinterest. Because Pinterest pins are shown in the Pinterest image results, this means it also had some slowing down effects on the platform. You can read more about the update on this official link, but also on other sources like: https://web.swipeinsight.app/posts/google-search-s-core-updates-reshape-web-crush-sites-5557

I recommend to start from your third month of management. By then we can see which pins are getting traffic and boost the ones that are outperforming the others.
-
While Pinterest doesn’t have a strict minimum budget, it’s recommended to start with at least $10 per day to see results.
OTHER QUESTIONS
-
No, but you can if you wish to.
However, the point of Pinterest is for potential clients to land on your website and not your Instagram. While cross-platform promotion can be beneficial (only if you wish for them to land on your Instagram), the main target is convertibility – which happens on your website.
-
There is no need for that because Pinterest has its own system for keywords that aren’t always relevant to the keywords from Google. Pinterest is a search engine, which means it has its own manner of functioning, so I tailor the keywords to work for Pinterest.

I made a guide about Pinterest backlinks. Click here > GUIDE

Yes. Not only is it necessary because of the Communities and Group Boards (to return the favor of having the opportunity to share your pins there), but you also don’t want your account to come off as spammy by sharing only your content. In addition, we maintain the recommended ratio: 70-80% of your own content and 20-30% of other people’s content.
